Just thought I'd update this again. Trying to keep this fairly regular. Anyway, another working week is over. They
did this stupid call coach thing on me today where they sat me down and made me listen to one of the calls that i
took. Man they are fucking annoying having to listen to your own voice. IT DOESN'T SOUND ANYTHING LIKE THE WAY I
THINK IT DOES!!!!!

My my it's been a while since I've updated this. Decided to update because I'm so bored in work. So anyway. We all
know Redbrick was rooted by someone. Apart from the hack on redbrick, a lot of controversy resulted from this, which
I'm hoping to avoid *completely*
Anyway, in other news, I bought my new laptop \o/ It's currently running Ubuntu Hardy Heron, and it's working away
fine. A couple of niggles along the way but nothing that can't be ironed out. At the moment I've got wireless working
and ethernet working, so it's doing pretty well.
Other than that, Hardy seems to be a very stable operating system. I had a lot of problems with Shockwave flash under
Gutsy, but when the upgrade to Hardy was installed it work fine(this being on my Desktop).
So thats it really, no other news other than that.
Oh yeah, and still in Eircom ;_;

Well, here I am in work. Finally starting to settle in. And more and more I've had to troubleshoot Windows Mail. I
had no idea that Windows Mail existed. The first time I saw it was when a customer called and asked about setting up
her e-mail account in it. So I had to go on screenshots to get her up and running.
The shift we're on at the moment is fairly sucky. 12:00 - 20:30. Not a good shift, and what's even more annoying is
that I'm on it next week. Not good at all.
I started reading Lord of the Rings again. What a great book... Anyway, thats all for now! \o/

I've started taking calls in work now. It's surprisingly easier than I thought. Although I can see first hand that
there are a lot of idiots in this country. Hanging up, not knowing where the Enter button, the Start button, and what
a right click is....is pretty DUMB!
Came off lunch at 13:00 and haven't had a call. It's now 13:41..
So I thought I would fill this out..earning money [Edit: Just got a call from a woman who didn't know how to activate
the wireless switch on her laptop, LOLOLOLOLOLOL] for helping idiots! \o/

Finally, the end of training. Just sat the last training exam today. I found it to be hard. I may have to repeat
it..
It depends really. I'll have to repeat it again on Monday if it does come to it.

An update on STS-122: Continued work goes on in the Columbus laboratory at the ISS.
Five
days left in the mission and so far everything seems to be going smoothly. :) Thats all tbh

News - 13/02/2008:
Well yesterday the Columbus Laboratory
was added to the ISS by the Atlantis crew. Epic win in my eyes.
First contact of Columbus with the ISS was
at 21:29, and at 21:44, one of the astronauts announced that it was officially installed on the ISS. Columbus was
pressurised at 22:11 and brought to an end a 7 hour 58-minute spacewalk. Epic win.
Doing a lot of reading lately on the Orion vehicle. This is NASA's new Crew Exploration Vehicle, and the successor
to the Shuttle Program. First flight of the
rocket will be this year and the first human flight to be 2014. I personally think they could do it earlier. But
because of the completion of the ISS being priority, it's not going to happen. Anyway, thats it for the moment.

on the computers, with crap "music" playing over and over again. I'm just waiting for the flash games to

Sat in on a couple of calls today. My conclusion is that the Irish people are not ready for Broadband. They're all
idiots. And so are a lot of the people we work with...who will be answering those calls...*sigh*.
